| Xanga. How I have neglected you. Well, here's my schedule for the upcoming weeks... Monday, May 14th: Die a thousand deaths. I went to my cousin's graduation this weekend and have been feeling strangely unmotivated, as always. I'm pretty sure I failed my math test *tear*. Well, is it my fault we haven't had a teacher? I have my Spanish oral exam. Screwed much? Wednesday, May 16th: Spanish written final. Grr... Argh. Thursday, May 17th: Doomsday. World History AP exam. Minimal studying --> much cramming --> tears, meltdowns, suicide Friday, Saturday, Sunday: Study like SHIT for my chemistry final. I am determined not to fail this one (yes, you read that correctly). Saturday, May 19th: Qingyun's birthday Monday, May 21st: Chemistry final. If I make it to this date, I assure you I won't be living past it. Tuesday-Wednesday: No need to study for these finals. I will already be dead. Thursday, May 24: Exemption from Whist final (hopefully). Freedom or funeral. All subsequent days: Summer! If all goes well I will be spending it above ground. But don't hold your breath. | | |
| OOoooo... An update. I will not go into a long I-am-failing-chemistry-(miserably) rant, so not to worry. I think I'm only going to post fandom-related posties from here on out. So I saw WICKED here in Houston the day before yester. Twas very, very good. And I'm very, very lazy so I probably won't write more than that. Except now I harbor a tinge of hatred for Galinda. She wasn't as redeeming as I remembered her being. What does Elphaba see in that twit? And for that matter, what does she see in Fiyero? So yay, he helps her rescue the lion and he's hott. Yadda yadda. He's a brainless idiot. *pauses* Okay, so maybe she can't help it :\ *sighs* Happy Easter, BTW. My mom dragged me to church... I was trying to view it as an educational experience, but it was kinda hard seeing as those two hours could have been devoted to my numerous world history projects. Then again, HOW many hours have I wasted watching Btvs or reading fic? Ooo.. Buffy. Saw As You Were. K, still don't see what's with the Everybody Hates Riley group. He doesn't bitch or moan about Spuffy, and his wife is nice. He doesn't get mad at the Buffster for supposedly letting him fly off in his helicopter. And Buffy, you suck. Stop being all high-and-mighty, and don't care about using Spike.. YOU KNOW YOU WANT HIM! Spike, what were you thinking harboring dangerous egg hatchlings to sell on the black market? YOU COULD HAVE GOTTEN YOURSELF HURT! Alright. Ending Buffy rant ahora before it becomes more capslocksy. Time to do my complier duties slash mental map slash WWI chart slash study for world history slash not read slash. :D | | |

There deserves to be a crazy!fangirl (isn't that the only kind) posting just for this. So, I started off my day all emo because I've recently decided that Valentine's Day is just a ploy by the card companies to make a lot of money (I still hold on this belief). Not to mention the flower companies, when one girl in my chem class got 50 flowers (not exaggerating... dead serious). My v-day count: nil. But today after school we had a "Cardinal Clash" (think gruesome, bloody battle of wits) with students vs. teachers. One of the questions went something like this (forgive me for my paraphrasing, I nearly had a heart-attack when Mr. Peek read it): In the novel Les Miserables, Cosette (mispronounced, I had to refrain from screaming out the correct pronouncation) is Marius' object of affection. One character's love, however, goes unrequited. Who is this character? *Me, mental screaming: EPONNNNNNNNNINNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!!!!!* Neither side got the answer right, and Mr. Peek didn't bother reading the correct answer (probably because he couldn't pronounce it). Oh well, that was the highlight of my day. How sad. Friday is the wedding anniversary of Cosette and Marius, BTW. I don't know whether to wear white in celebration or black in mourning. Might go for a happy medium by wearing my Mark!scarf. Okayz. </crazy ramblings>. <edit> Forgot to mention part of a question was naming the author of La Boheme. Katherine's brother is awesome... got every single opera question right. </edit> | | |
| I figured since I spent the past hour on xanga reading my old posts I should update. I really hope that thing they say about colleges and potential employers looking you up to read your online blog is false. That's really scary and Big Brother.. Sleep has left me this week. I finally turned in my Whist project on philosophy in Eastern Europe. I think that was the deciding factor for me -not- being a philosophy major. Hmm... Not really any new fandoms. I'm trying to get into House due to Ann's constant nagging (j/k)... tho if I actually took her advice I'd be updating my LJ instead of my xanga... My LJ has about 2 posts. Maybe I'll just c/p this in there. I finished my Mark Scarf ages ago, but I realized I never posted about it. I don't post about anything *frowns* Oh well, nothing interesting about boring old me. If you want to hear a great song, try to find Tell Me On A Sunday by ALW. I listened to it for the first time in probably a year, and I nearly cried hearing it. So good. So, America's favorite depressing holiday is coming up! Anyone doing something to abate the suicidal feelings? Thought so. K, better study for chem and algebra now. Yes, I am studying for algebra. I realized I was not as invincible as I thought and I can't just *insert cool-sounding verb here* my way through the course. Turned in my Honor Society Application. I highly doubt I'll get it. I barely do anything except homework *cough cough* when I'm not on the computer wasting time. Where the heck does it go? OoooooOOoooh! I forgot to post about the most recent movies I've seen-- both wonderful! Little Miss Sunshine and The Illusionist. Rent them. NOW. | | |
